I have a pocket full of sunshine

After 16 years apart, Liam and Noel Gallagher finally walked onto the same stage again on July 4, 2025, opening Oasis’ Live ’25 reunion tour at Principality Stadium in Cardiff, Wales. The brothers arrived hand in hand before launching into “Hello,” greeted by a stadium full of fans who had spent years wondering whether they would ever see this moment. Their 23-song set included classics such as “Acquiesce,” “Morning Glory,” “Cigarettes & Alcohol,” “Supersonic” and “Live Forever,” alongside fan favourites like “Talk Tonight” and “The Masterplan.”

The reunion was more than a return to the stage. It marked the end of a 16-year separation following their infamous backstage fallout in Paris in 2009, when Noel left the band. Joined by longtime collaborators Gem Archer, Andy Bell and Paul “Bonehead” Arthurs, alongside drummer Joey Waronker, Oasis delivered a set that connected generations of fans through songs that helped define British rock in the ’90s. The night closed with “Don’t Look Back in Anger,” “Wonderwall” and “Champagne Supernova,” turning a long-awaited reunion into a massive singalong and the beginning of a new chapter in the band’s story.
