Friday Funsies… For fun projects are the best projects. No rules, no revisions, just purely for the love of design and making people smile when they see it.
The Corn Roast is my wife’s annual family reunion, they’ve been doing it for 80 years now! The gathering of the Baldiga and Wambach families. Her dad 1 of 10 siblings, her mom 1 of 4. Multiply that now by 3 generations of kids and grandkids… it’s a rager every year out at her parents farmhouse in Lapeer, MI.
The inspiration was clear… conceptually spot on. Design is easy when you have a subject who is the living resemblance of your inspiration. There was not much additional manipulating that needed to be made, you keep it true and recognizable. Let the nostalgia hit.
If you are from Michigan and lived through the 80s and 90s you know who Farmer Jack is.. iykyk
From concept to production we created a fun little capsule to celebrate 80 years of corn roastin! You better ask somebody!
