Diggin into the Project Archives.. In the heart of festival season, we raise the house lights and bring H2Oasis into view. Born from the festival grounds to deliver professional, high-capacity water station solutions to large scale events, H2Oasis came to us to create a bold, eye catching visual identity for their launch, that would stand out from the crowds during summer festival season and highlight their distinguished industry experience, sustainability benefits, and clean, professional, seamless service guarantee. Friday Funsies… For fun projects are the best projects. No rules, no revisions, just purely for the love of design and making people smile when they see it. The Corn Roast is my wife’s annual family reunion, they’ve been doing it for 80 years now! The gathering of the Baldiga and Wambach families. Her dad 1 of 10 siblings, her mom 1 of 4. Multiply that now by 3 generations of kids and grandkids… it’s a rager every year out at her parents farmhouse in Lapeer, MI. The inspiration was clear… conceptually spot on. Design is easy when you have a subject who is the living resemblance of your inspiration. There was not much additional manipulating that needed to be made, you keep it true and recognizable. Let the nostalgia hit. If you are from Michigan and lived through the 80s and 90s you know who Farmer Jack is.. iykyk From concept to production we created a fun little capsule to celebrate 80 years of corn roastin! You better ask somebody! #FarmerJack #DTF #GraphicDesign #PrintOnDemand #DTG by @modelcitizenbrands
Your brand colors may look perfect on screen, but that does not mean they will automatically print the same on a t-shirt, brochure, embroidered hat, or promotional product. Understanding and defining your brand’s color profile is a crucial step in guaranteeing color consistency across different print mediums. HEX, RGB, CMYK, and Pantone each serve a different purpose, and understanding when to use them helps create more accurate, consistent results throughout your usages. Swipe through as we breakdown color codes, printing methods, Pantone guides, and best practices for keeping your brand colors consistent from screen to production. Save this post for your next print project and share it with anyone responsible for managing your brand assets. #brandcolors #pantone #pmscolors #graphicdesingtips #brandguidelines by @modelcitizenbrands
The Chip Champ 🏆 Perhaps our favorite concept we submitted for @adcraftdetroit Interwoven event: How Brand Collabs are Changing the Game. Did it make the finalist rd? That’s gonna be a big negative Ghost Rider. Do we still love it and feel that it shines brightly above and beyond the confines of the contest? Indeed we do. For this @bettermade1930 submission, we broke the rules a bit letting the creative idea lead the way, and built out a full-blown promotional collection instead of just a single t-shirt graphic. The result was something fun, memorable, and exactly the kind of thing that would turn heads as a giveaway, event activation, or brand collab moment. Was it the most technical design? No. But the most technical design isn’t always the best or most effective idea. Great promotional branding works when the concept, strategy, product, and experience all come together in a way people actually remember. It’s not just about putting a logo on something. It’s about creating a moment. And yes, we fully understand why this one didn’t fit neatly within the contest rules. It wasn’t really a standard print-ready t-shirt design. It was more of a full promotional concept - and one that couldn’t be printed live on a basic tee setup. But in the true spirit of what brand collaborations and experiential merch can be, we stand by the Chip Champ. Its bold. It’s fun. It has personality. And in a real event setting, this is exactly the kind of concept we love helping brands bring to life. Dedicated to all our real Chip Champs out there. ✌️🧐 #custommerch #promotionalbranding #experentialmarketing #customswag #promotionalproducts by @modelcitizenbrands

We had so much fun working on a few designs for a few Detroit born brands who we grew up on and simply adore, like @littlecaesars as part of @adcraftdetroit ‘s #interwoven event this past April that we wanted to share a couple of our official submissions. This one, dubbed “Sweet Dreams are Made of These (cheese?)” was a fun original concept designed by @mrjessthib and one of our personal favs that was chosen as a finalist in the design competition. As an unofficial ambassador and lover of the original Pizza Pizza crown, how hard would you rep Little Caesar’s in this Tee? **Side note, we just discovered, 40+ years later, that the actual title to the original Eurythmics song that inspired our title is Sweet Dreams (Are Made of This)! Not “these” as we have been singing wrong all these years… 🤣 🧐 #littlecaesars #pizzapizza #tshirtdesign #custommerch by @modelcitizenbrands

Ever feel like your career is a never-ending rollercoaster? Trust me, you’re not alone. @mrjessthib has been through it all. Drop a 🔥 if you’ve ever had to start over, again and again. Jess Thibodeau’s journey from managing bands in Los Angeles to running his own branding agency, @modelcitizenbrands is proof that hustle, resilience, and adaptability are key. He’s worked in music, marketing, and now creates custom merch and branding for brands and artists, all self-taught along the way. What’s wild? He started with zero plans for it all, just chasing passion. He emphasizes that building genuine relationships and staying authentic are what keep his businesses growing, especially in a noisy digital world. He’s also learned that constant reinvention and leaning into discomfort is where real growth happens. It’s a tough balance, but Jess’s story shows that the hustle never really stops, just shifts. Maybe you’re in the middle of your own creative or entrepreneurial journey right now. What’s your next move to keep the momentum going?
