For years, Marie’s Food Pantry of UNC has been on the ground in Delmas, Haiti — feeding hungry kids, putting uniforms on their backs, books in their hands, and hope in their hearts. This isn’t charity from a distance. It’s hot meals served daily, school tuition covered, mentorship given, and a community showing up for its children again and again. 🇭🇹

This year, their goal is simple but life-changing: send 30 children back to school for the 2026–2027 year. Tuition. Supplies. Uniforms. Meals. A real shot at a future.

That’s why the Golden Bucket Basketball Tournament is stepping up to sponsor them. 🏀 Every bracket, every basket, every $5 donated goes directly toward funding pantries in Haiti, cancer support in Barbados, and youth programs here at home in New York.

We’ve raised **$4,337.50 of our $20,000 goal** — and we have just **one week left** to get there.

As Nelson Mandela said: *”Education is the most powerful weapon which you can use to change the world.”* Let’s give these kids that weapon.
