"Ever since I was five years old, I dreamed of becoming an actor.

I grew up overseas in Bavaria, Germany, and eventually took a very different path. I joined the U.S. Army, graduated from Ranger School, deployed to Afghanistan, and was awarded the Bronze Star for my military service.

After leaving active duty, I transitioned into corporate America, but that childhood dream of acting never went away.

For years, I was afraid to audition in Los Angeles or New York. I convinced myself that everyone else was more talented, more experienced, and better prepared than I was.

Eventually, I realized the only person stopping me from pursuing my dream was me.

I finally took that leap of faith, started training, auditioning, and putting myself out there. What once felt impossible slowly became a reality.

Today, I’m incredibly grateful to call myself a SAG-AFTRA member.

From serving my country in Afghanistan, to corporate America, to pursuing my childhood dream on television, my journey has been anything but traditional.

If there’s one thing I’ve learned, it’s that it’s never too late to pursue your dreams. Don’t let fear convince you that you don’t belong.

Honored to be SAG-AFTRA. 🙏"

Happy #MemberMonday, Joseph Perez! 🤩

Congratulations to Navi Pillay. 🏆 Stop the genocide & free Palestine 🇵🇸

i will continue to speak out against anyone using this trying time for personal gain and to inflate their perceived merit. this is a human rights issue like i said, just because the insane actions of fellow AUC students is getting this situation more attention does not mean it is okay to try to discredit survivors because the abuse is hurting too close to home and you want to protect your friends.

continue to be performative activists because the world sees through it. substack page link in bio. #spelmangrimreaper
