No, I will not apologise for slapping the pumpkin! My favourite thing to do every Halloween is to carve a pumpkin into a wearable head and then skip, dance and prance around with all the whimsical halloween magic I can muster! I may (and may already have done) start hiding the pumpkin head in other reels that I make... ALSO! This prancing pumpkin persona requires a name! The days are finding their rhythm again. Work calls, duties return, the world moves on. But something in me has changed forever. My mother's absence lives in the quiet moments, in the little things, in the spaces she once filled. Nothing stays the same. That is the truth of life. We lose, we grieve, we heal and we learn to carry what we have lost as we walk forward. Moving on is not leaving her behind. It is carrying her with me and finding the strength to live the life she gave me. Life goes on. And so must I. #Mother #Love #Legacy #Strength #LRSM
