Caught up with amiga @l.a.momma to bear ethnographic witness to a totally unusual LA mise-en-scรจne: an evening devoted to analyzing the evil Night Stalker (Richard Ramirez). The event moved from a tireless Sinatra crooner to a thoroughly offensive comedian to vigorous applause for the former Sheriff trying to recapture his seat to speakers discussing the grim details of the Night Stalker investigation.
The whole happening was equal parts criminology lecture, true crime immersion, vital LA eighties history, and baffling danse macabre.

โTireless croonerโ ๐ Why did they have him dancing all around a diagram of the killer. Surely it didnโt take too much effort to put up that it couldnโt have waited. Looks like a โcelebration of lifeโ ๐คฆโโ๏ธ
