Happy 17th birthday to my OG YouTube big bro 😎 🎂@rydertullymusic
The “67” meme (pronounced “six seven”) is a viral internet meme that took off in 2025, largely through TikTok and Instagram, originating from Skrilla’s song “Doot Doot (6 7)” and spreading through basketball edits, particularly those featuring LaMelo Ball, who is 6 feet 7 inches tall. It became a sort of absurdist inside joke, with people shouting “six seven” and doing a specific hand gesture, often in response to absolutely nothing, with the humor coming from its randomness, repetition, and the shared understanding that it doesn't really mean anything. But like most memes that escape their original internet subculture and become popular with children, it quickly became overexposed: people started yelling it everywhere, schools and brands picked it up, and the joke became less about the original absurdity and more about the fact that people were still doing it. At that point, the humor became self-perpetuating, with the meme surviving largely because everyone recognizes it rather than because there's anything particularly funny about it anymore. It's basically a victim of its own success: once everyone is in on the joke, the randomness stops being surprising, and the repetition becomes the joke's entire personality.

Five years ago today we lost the brightest light in our family, my sweet mom, Miss Mimi. Alzheimer’s took her slowly. By the end she barely resembled the firecracker who could walk into any room and make it warmer. But there was still the occasional spark and you could feel her warmth. I learned a lot about how to love her during this period which is often referred to as the long goodbye. If you’re caring for someone with Alzheimer’s, a few more things I wish I’d known sooner: 💛 Sudden confusion? Call the doctor. A sudden change can be an infection (often a UTI) or a medication issue, not just the disease. 💛 Do the paperwork early. Power of attorney and healthcare wishes, while they can still tell you what they want. 💛 Take care of you. Grief starts long before goodbye. The Alzheimer’s Association helpline is free and open 24/7: 800-272-3900. To my sister, who carried the hardest part every single day: thank you isn’t enough. Miss you, Mom. Always. Forever. And beyond. #Alzheimers #AlzheimersAwareness #Caregiving #DementiaCare #GriefJourney
