IT’S BEEN A YEAR SINCE WE MOVED INTO OUR THATCHED COTTAGE, after selling our 3 bed semi detached doer upper, found out I was pregnant and jumped ship to our little village 🥰… Here’s how it’s going! We have SO many projects left to do on this house, some I haven’t even ever spoken about! Some of our biggest projects will have to wait, like redoing the garage roof, garage doors, adding a gate to the front of the house & sorting out all the front garden! 🪴 But for now, we are focusing on: Hallway, bootility, basement gym (so excited about this!) & spare bedroom… And of course we will be doing them all on a little budget, so lots of DIY to come 👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼 I can’t wait to share more with you for another year in our cottage! I can’t believe we’ve had our first baby here too and have her first Christmas to look forward to! It feels so magical. Love, Kat xxxxxx

The end of an incredible series that means the world to me. I truly cried continuously from the prologue to the epilogue and I have never wanted a HEA so bad before in my life. Toren was a highly anticipated character in the series and Peyton absolutely delivered. He is a protector to his core, while he’s had no one else to call his own except for Lily, he’s done what he could to keep others safe. Seeing such depth in his character and finding people who love him the way he deserves brought me such peace. Lily is a soul character for me and she means more to me than I can put into the words. The representation of her depression and how it weighed her down is one of the most painful but relatable moments I’ve read in any book by far. She’s all fire when she’s with Toren and I loved getting to see that side of her. Her attachment to Toren and the way their hearts grew around each other was so beautiful as they navigated these messy, ugly and angry feelings they feel from being young children, teenagers, and adults. Toren deserves the world and yet was given so little to the point that he had lost hope. Lily and Toren drag themselves through the mud, dust themselves off and continue to try for one another because their love for each other was meant to be. It was beautiful to experience this angsty journey with them. These two are written in the stars and I love them so much. In every universe, it’s Toren and Lily against the world. I truly cannot believe this is our final Waterfell book but I cannot imagine a better goodbye. Thank you Peyton for giving us somewhere to feel the pain but find joy and hope as well. 💜🏒🎨
