5 years ago today, Adele released ‘Easy On Me.' Three songs were in contention to lead '30,' and Adele chose 'Easy On Me.' She wrote it with Greg Kurstin, her longtime collaborator, who produced it and plays bass, kick drum, and piano, with strings arranged and conducted by David Campbell. Columbia Records released it on October 15, 2021, her first new music in six years since '25.' The build-up included the number 30 projected onto landmarks around the world on October 1, a teaser on October 5, and a 40-second preview on October 9. Xavier Dolan directed the video, shot in Quebec on September 15 and 16, 2021, and it opens in the same house used for the 'Hello' video, which he also directed. The song drew 24 million UK streams in its first week, topping the 16.9 million record that Ariana Grande's '7 rings' had set. It also broke Spotify's record for most streams in a day, and it moved to number one on the Billboard Hot 100 in its second week as her fifth leader. 'Easy On Me' reached number one in 30 territories, spent eight non-consecutive weeks atop the UK chart, and became her longest-running chart-topper in both the UK and US. A duet version with Chris Stapleton reached country radio on November 19, 2021, making it the first song to scale pop, rock, R&B/hip-hop, and country airplay charts. It took Song of the Year at the 2022 Brit Awards, where '30' won Album of the Year, and later won the Grammy for Best Pop Solo Performance. #adele #music #popculture #reels
Bruh how does one wrap their head around this 😩 winning the Olympia is craaazzzyyy man. I’m still here tryna let it hit me that I really did that. Ten years in this game and to finally reach the top blows my mind. It’s not that I didn’t believe in myself it’s just you never know! This is a sport of subjectivity and working in such a precise way to bring your body in on point that you just gotta rely on the work you put in and pray it all comes together on point. I’m just happy man. The stars aligned, every detail tended to and we brought that winning package and I’m proud. Ima be real with ya, starting this journey I didn’t know I’d come this far. Not that I didn’t see it for myself but like I didn’t know anything about this sport when I first hit the stage in 2017. I came in bright eyed and ready to do what needed to be done to get right with myself. I came into this journey seeking a sense of healing and empowerment. To prove to myself that I can do something that challenged me in ways I had never been challenged before. To grow as a woman, to learn about my body and mind. And along the way I found the passion and desire to take it all the way. I wasn’t someone who lived and breathed this sport before I started or even in the beginning. I grew a deep love for it along the way. The process of improving and learning what it means to become a champion. I’m so grateful for all it’s taught and brought me in these last ten years and look forward to what I’ll do going forward. 🥹🫶🏽 . . 🎥 @profitnessphotos 🏋🏽‍♀️ @ccash15_ifbbpro 👙 @toxicangelzbikinis JAZZYFRESH 💎 @all_that_glitters_gems JAZZYFRESH ☀️ @protan_official JAZZY 💄 : @lebou_beauty @mariahbartistry 💇🏽‍♀️ : @crownedstudiolv . . #olympia #bikiniolympia #mrolympia

Listen to the 9 year old 🤗😂 Maybe this is why women are scared to try something “different”? Grow out the grey...cut it short...wear it long....colour it..... Do whatever makes you feel like YOU. There will always be people who would choose differently, and that’s fine. They don’t have to wear your hair! If you’ve been thinking of embracing your natural silver, changing colours or going for the chop, this is your sign to do it Short and silver... what would you do? #fusionhairdesign #corksalon #citysalon #shorthair #shorthairstyle
