Dad, painting a mural at the local officers’ café bar in Çorovodë, 1985.
Dad grew up in Çorovodë and lived there until we moved to the UK. He was a well-known artist in the town, and still is - when we go back, he’s greeted by old friends, family and people who remember his work. Even my brother and I are recognised as Luan Hoxha’s children.
His art is a bit more personal now - acrylic landscapes of home.
