It’s often said that we are our ancestors’ wildest dreams, but our ancestors could never have fathomed what it’s like to live in a constant state of in between — navigating cultural and familial expectations, societal pressures of what we’re allowed to be and not be, and the paths that were chosen for us before we could choose for ourselves. So chasing a dream of your own can sometimes feel like a pivot away from everything you’re expected and supposed to be, even if it’s the first thing that’s ever actually felt right.
This panel follows dreamers, creators, and entrepreneurs at different stages of that journey, from just launching to over a decade in, who have built businesses and brands based on experiences and perspectives that are undeniably their own.
