INDEPENDENT ARTIST ZINES! HANDMADE PRINTS! HOT CHAI!
Jugaad is more than a word. It’s a way of being and doing that South Asians grow up with: a low-cost, makeshift workaround, clever and frugal, born from Sanskrit and Punjabi roots. We put out an open call for printed work that answered to that spirit, and the responses genuinely surprised us. Making a final selection was tough.
Come l👀k, chit-chat, sip-sip, flip through, and bring home printed mARTerials themed on improvisation and the DIY spirit, in the Oostelijk Havengebied on 9 and 10 October. Books, zines, prints and small-format works start at €5.
𝘑𝘜𝘎𝘈𝘈𝘋: 𝘈𝘣𝘴𝘰𝘭𝘶𝘵𝘦 𝘐𝘮𝘱𝘳𝘰𝘷𝘪𝘴𝘢𝘵𝘪𝘰𝘯 is initiated and co-curated by Mama Magnet and SAC Art Amsterdam.
Reserve your spot via the link in bio. 🕠✏️🛠️📘👜
Entrance is €3 to ensure we can cover the event’s base costs. However, we have a pending grant application! If this grant is approved, we will gladly refund the full ticket price. If not, your €3 will go directly toward funding the event setup. Thank you for supporting us early!
