Immigrants are not a talking point. They are our neighbors, our doctors, our nurses, our business owners, our clients and the people raising the next generation of Americans.
We can have serious conversations about immigration policy without dehumanizing people who came here looking for safety, opportunity and a better life.
I have tremendous respect for the Haitian community, and I will always stand for treating immigrants with dignity. 🇭🇹❤️

And the MAGA knee-jerk reactionaries who simply can’t believe these facts, please know that Haitians dominate the medical field wherever they go. The Dean of the University of Miami’s medical school who is also a surgeon is from Haiti. He’s been practicing for decades, way before “DEI.”

Which is illegal. Yall should work hard at learning the laws. If an American is qualified for a job they should be hired over a non citizens. Not ok only that citizens.. prefer citizens.
