Encounters like this can happen just steps from the shore! This stunning European squid (Loligo vulgaris) was spotted right on a casual beach dive from our resort. 🏖️🤿
While they can roam down to depths of 500 meters, Loligo vulgaris frequently migrates into shallow coastal waters during warmer months to spawn, making nearshore encounters possible.
