🎬 Shameless (2011) follows the Gallagher family, a chaotic South Side Chicago family raised in circumstances where the older siblings often have to look after each other because their father, Frank, is barely capable of being a parent. Fiona becomes the one holding everything together, while Lip, Ian, Debbie, Carl and Liam grow up learning to survive through whatever life throws at them.

What makes the Gallagher siblings so entertaining is the way their version of love is basically fighting, roasting each other, stealing from each other and then immediately having each other’s backs when something serious happens. They can be completely dysfunctional one minute and fiercely protective the next, which is exactly what makes their family dynamic feel so real. Shameless ran for 11 seasons and 134 episodes, following the Gallaghers as they grew up, made terrible decisions and somehow kept finding their way back to each other. 😭
