This was a Gold and Opal bridge we made for Make up designer @becburatto_makeupartist and actor @markmitchinson__
“Doug” The Mayor
As described in the Sydney Morning Herald, he is a “‘mayor’ with iridescent opals for teeth who favours a fetching blue frock when he’s not reclining in his bathtub drinking beer.”
We waxed up and cast the gold bridge with microns of relief and hand painted and light cured multiple layers of dental resin to give the opal finish a sense of depth that only real opals have.
I think we achieved something really beautiful. Thank you 🙏🏽 Bec for trusting me with your Dental prosthetics again. Thanks to @robroy23 . If you haven’t seen the series check it out on @abciview Stella performances from Mark , @michaeldorman81 and Liv Hewson.
