On the second day of Navaratri , sprinkling a little peace & elegance onto myself.🤍✨ Sarees made of different yarns fascinate me. The body of this Kanjeevaram saree is linen, with pastel coloured stripes & gold zari, while the border & pallu are silk with gold stripes. The pastel colours, the stripes n linen of the body, to me feels quite contemporary, whereas the mustard colour of the silk n gold zari spells traditional Kanjeevaram. Maa Brahmacharini, the goddess of the 2nd day is the only form of Navadurgas who carries absolutely no weapons. A princess who walked away from the palace into deep forests as an ascetic, to do penance, & achieve her purpose of winning over her love - Lord Shiva. No weapons, armour, army, nor the fierce lion to protect her, but only Kamandalu (water pot) & Japa Mala (prayer beads) is what she carried. So, shakti isn’t only about being on the defensive, or fighting the outside world. It can equally be an inside job. To take accountability of our life, our choices, limits… honouring capabilities & timelines, which are uniquely ours… to be patient & stay on our chosen path… & all along knowing well that we hold our own infinite reservoir of power. We are our own anchors, our own guides, & our own light. #navaratri#linen Going out to all the navratri themes #9colorsofnavratriwithrohni @rohinikrishna.iyer #panchamitodashamimypujolook @niveditaduttaroy #navrangnavratriwithbhaamasri @srilakshmi15

My favourite diy art pieces to date and you know ive done a few 😂 My autumn art which I’ve not taken down all year because I love it! And another floral art piece inspired by one I’d seen for my office I heard another quote recently that said the opposite of anxiety is creativity and that they both can’t exist together in the same space. I think I need to get creating again! 😂 All time high levels of anxiety here with the new house and perimenopause see stories 😂🫠 . #diyart #autumnart #diyprojects #diyhomedecor
I still can’t believe it 🙈✨ One year ago, I started posting makeup content consistently with no idea where it could lead. Today, I’m watching Anne Hathaway and Dakota Johnson react to one of my videos in an @allure interview. A little reminder to keep creating - even when you don’t know who’s watching 🤍 #annehathaway #dakotajohnson #allure
Watching Charlotte Simone come alive on all of YOU⭐️
