WOW. Mesa Verde National Park. 🤯🏔️
One of the biggest surprises—and now one of my favorite National Parks I’ve ever visited.
More than 700 years ago, Ancestral Pueblo people built incredible communities into these cliffs. From around 550 CE through the late 1200s, generations lived, farmed, raised families, and created these astonishing cliff dwellings.
Standing in front of Cliff Palace, surrounded by this massive, breathtaking landscape, I couldn’t stop thinking: How did people build this here centuries ago?
Everywhere you look, there is history—and somehow, the landscape makes the story even more powerful.
This is why I believe the National Parks System is one of America’s greatest treasures. 🇺🇸 They aren’t just beautiful places; they are living classrooms, preserving the stories, cultures, and landscapes that shaped our country.
And experiencing this adventure with Sarah made it even better. ❤️ She is always the perfect company. We love road trips and how we can find joy on the most simple things in life.
Beautiful places create memories. Sharing them with the person you love makes them unforgettable.
