The Journey to My Personal Legend ✨

Just finished this one! One of the most beautiful lessons in The Alchemist, by Paulo Coelho, is that we all have a Personal Legend — a purpose that calls us to explore, take risks, overcome obstacles, and follow our dreams. And sometimes, the greatest treasure is not where we thought it would be, but in who we become along the journey.

I see so much of my own life in Santiago’s story.

Throughout the world, living in different countries, challenges, opportunities, and personal & professional achievements, I’ve been pursuing my own Personal Legend. Building a new firm, but using pieces of all I’ve learned, creating something meaningful, pushing boundaries, and constantly discovering new possibilities. Meeting important people along the way (on these 47 years) that taught me the path for what shapes me. Always following my heart! Always being honest to others and to myself. Always kept moving forward, even when fear appeared (many times).

Along the way, I found my person. And although life still requires us to live at a distance for a little while longer, I know that every step forward brings me closer to the treasure I have been searching for. My family.

Professionally, I feel closer than ever to realizing a dream I’ve worked so hard to build. Personally, I feel that the most beautiful chapter is still ahead of me.

Perhaps that’s the greatest lesson of The Alchemist: the journey is never just about reaching the destination. It’s about having the courage to pursue what your heart truly desires, trusting the process, and recognizing that every experience is part of the treasure. I appreciate everyone that made an important part so far on this journey. You know who you are.

I’m still chasing dreams. Still building. Still believing.

And I have a feeling that my treasure is closer than ever. ❤️

⛳️ A PERFECT DAY ON THE GOLF COURSE! ☀️🏆

What a day playing the Florida State Golf Association’s South Florida one-day event! Great golf, beautiful nature, meeting amazing people from all over the state, and making new friendships along the way.

I got to compete, have fun, feed my soul, AND bring home the win! 🏆💪🏼

This is what keeps me alive — competition, friendships, challenge, and the feeling of doing what I love. And hey… getting some swagger for free never hurts! 😂😎

One more trophy moment. One more winner’s hat (this one goes to my wife Sarah 🧢). And a heart full of gratitude to be able to have the lifestyle I’ve always wanted. ❤️⛳️

⚾️💙💛 FROM MIAMI TO MILWAUKEE… LET’S GO, BREWERS!!! 💛💙⚾️

If you had told me 10 years ago that I’d be wearing a baseball jersey, cheering for an American MLB team, and getting THIS EXCITED about baseball, I would have never believed you! 😂

And the plot twist? I LIVE IN MIAMI, but my #1 MLB TEAM IS THE MILWAUKEE BREWERS! 🧢🔥

Almost 1,300 miles away, but my heart is right there with the Crew! 💙💛

First time in my life feeling this kind of excitement for baseball, and I’m ALL IN! The jersey is on, the smile is real, and the dream is BIG! 🏆

LET’S GO, BREWERS! BRING THAT WORLD SERIES CHAMPIONSHIP HOME! ⚾️🍻🔥

🔥🏆 PACESETTER & TRAILBLAZER!!! OVER 41 LIVES IN JUST 6 MONTHS AT ONLY 26 YEARS OLD! 🏆🔥

What an incredible accomplishment by Felipe de Aguiar! 👏

Felipe is officially the 8th Pacesetter of 2026 across Northwestern Mutual’s South Florida Offices and the 3rd for the Wolfpack! 🐺🏆

A community leader, a team leader, a relentless hustler, and someone with an incredible life story, Felipe brings a positive attitude, determination, and a drive to make a difference in people’s lives every single day.

He already stands among the top 10% of Northwestern Mutual advisors with less than one year in the business, and I have no doubt he will build an incredibly successful wealth management firm!

I couldn’t be prouder of Felipe, his wife Carol, and our entire Wolfpack team for this achievement. This is what happens when talent, hard work, purpose, and the right culture come together! ❤️

🚀 Next stop: Fastrack Academy 2027! The best is yet to come, Felipe!

Six months ago, I started a new career filled with uncertainty, challenges, insecurities, and the fear of failure. Today, looking back, I couldn’t be prouder of everything I’ve accomplished.

Six months of hard work, dedication, and growth. During this journey, I achieved every goal that was set for me, from client acquisition to production and lives sold. I also had the honor of being part of an initiative supporting children fighting cancer.

Today, I’m celebrating one of my biggest achievements so far: Pacesetter 40, a recognition earned by fewer than 10% of eligible Northwestern Mutual financial representatives in their first six months! 🏆

Long days, sleepless nights, and countless challenges. In the final stretch alone, over 15 products sold and 15 new clients in just one week! Today, I can proudly say that I truly love what I do, and I know this is only the beginning!

But none of this happens alone.

To my wife @_carolguimaraes , thank you for standing by my side through the good days and especially the difficult ones, when the financial results didn’t always reflect the hard work. Thank you for believing in me even when I doubted myself.

To my mentors, @lunahmias and @rcarvalho_10 , I am forever grateful. You’ve been essential to this achievement. So much of my knowledge and confidence today comes from you. God truly placed incredible people in my life!

And to my amazing Back Office, thank you! Everyone in this picture played a part in making this happen. Two intense weeks of handling applications, supporting clients, and solving problems. I couldn’t have done it without you!

Here’s to new challenges, bigger achievements, and many more years of growth!

Two years later… I’m BACK! 🏌️‍♀️💙

After taking a break from golf competitions since August 2023, I came back this weekend to play the FSGA Women’s Net State Championship in Naples — and what a comeback it was!

On Sunday, I played the best round of golf of my life, shooting under par! 🔥⛳️

I started the tournament with a handicap of 4, while my current game is closer to an 8–10. That forced me to strategize better, read the course more precisely, minimize mistakes, and especially stay sharp around the greens.

But more than anything, I felt relaxed, mature, confident, and mentally resilient. Even being out of shape and not playing as often as I’d like, I trusted the basics, stayed present, and kept fighting for every shot.

The energy of the athletes, the good vibes, and simply being back in competition made this weekend incredibly special.

And having Sarah there to watch and cheer for me meant the world. 💙 She flew in just to support me and absolutely won the Best Wife Award this weekend! 🏆❤️

Add spa days at The Ritz-Carlton Naples Beach Resort, Champagne, sunset drinks, and amazing bites made an unforgettable weekend. 🥂🌅

Sometimes we don’t have to go far to treat ourselves well — especially after pushing hard and reminding ourselves how much grit and passion we have.

Now… ON TO THE NEXT LEVEL! 🔥

In January, I’ll play my first international-level competition, this time in doubles! Super excited to practice, get better, and keep feeding my soul with what I love.

One shot at a time. One level higher. ⛳️💙

I couldn’t be more proud of my clients, Carol Schoenrock, Jackie Fonseca, Carol’s family, and the entire @stonemallusa team, for what they have built from the ground up. What started as a family business has grown into a true reference in the stone industry—not only here in Florida, but across the United States. Walking through Stone Mall is an experience in itself: an incredible, massive, beautifully organized collection of more than 5,000 premium stone slabs, with materials sourced from some of the finest suppliers around the world, including many exclusive pieces you simply won’t find anywhere else in Florida.

But what impresses me even more than the size and beauty of the business is the people and the culture behind it. Stone Mall has created an environment where employees from all walks of life and backgrounds feel welcomed, respected, and safe—and that says so much about the values of its owners. We are now implementing Group Benefits for the firm, and I’m especially proud to be part of that process because it reflects something very important: Carol, Jackie, and their family genuinely care about the people who help make their success possible.

Thank you, Carol and Jackie, for the trust you continue to place in me and for allowing me to be part of your journey. It is an honor to support a family business that has achieved so much while staying true to its values. And a special thank you to Marcello Rocha for joining me in supporting Stone Mall with their broader business financial needs. I’m excited to see what the next chapter brings for this incredible company and this amazing family! 🖤🪨 by @rcarvalho_10

Colorado bound! 🏔️✨ Heading back to one of my favorite events of the year — NM Denver Summit 2026 at the stunning Park Hyatt Beaver Creek!

Sarah and I were honored to host this incredible weekend alongside Ross Alisiani (Catarina), Todd Sexton (Katie), Mike Jones (Becki) and Eric McGough (Debbie), bringing together some of the top advisors in Colorado and amazing Home Office leaders. There’s something special about being surrounded by people who are passionate about this business, constantly pushing each other forward, and celebrating accomplishments together. 🙌🏼

And of course… Colorado wouldn’t be Colorado without some adventure! ⛳️ Played the breathtaking Beaver Creek Golf Club, hiked the mountains with our pups Avalanche & Aspen 🐶🏔️, and found some precious slow time with my wifey. ❤️

Great people. Big goals. Mountain air. Golf. Dogs. And the woman I love by my side. Doesn’t get much better than that. 🏔️❤️⛳️

LABOR DAY WEEKEND PART 3/3 — BLACK CANYON OF THE GUNNISON 🖤🏔️

We saved one of the most spectacular moments for the end: Black Canyon of the Gunnison National Park. Carved over millions of years by the powerful Gunnison River, this canyon is so deep, narrow, and steep that early explorers struggled to even navigate through it. First documented in the 1800s, it eventually became protected as a national monument in 1933 and a national park in 1999. Standing at the edge, looking down into those almost impossibly dark walls, you can’t help but feel very, very small.

But maybe that’s exactly what nature is meant to do — remind us of our place in the world. The silence, the vastness, the shadows and the light… it felt almost sacred. Some places you visit and take pictures. Others you experience — and carry home with you. This was definitely one of those places. 🏔️✨

And now, back to Florida with my heart completely full. ❤️ This trip gave me exactly what I knew I needed: nature, quietude, adventure, and love. Back home recharged, grateful, and reminded that sometimes the best way to find yourself again is simply to get away — and get lost in something bigger than you. 🌎❤️ by @rcarvalho_10

WOW. Mesa Verde National Park. 🤯🏔️

One of the biggest surprises—and now one of my favorite National Parks I’ve ever visited.

More than 700 years ago, Ancestral Pueblo people built incredible communities into these cliffs. From around 550 CE through the late 1200s, generations lived, farmed, raised families, and created these astonishing cliff dwellings.

Standing in front of Cliff Palace, surrounded by this massive, breathtaking landscape, I couldn’t stop thinking: How did people build this here centuries ago?

Everywhere you look, there is history—and somehow, the landscape makes the story even more powerful.

This is why I believe the National Parks System is one of America’s greatest treasures. 🇺🇸 They aren’t just beautiful places; they are living classrooms, preserving the stories, cultures, and landscapes that shaped our country.

And experiencing this adventure with Sarah made it even better. ❤️ She is always the perfect company. We love road trips and how we can find joy on the most simple things in life.

Beautiful places create memories. Sharing them with the person you love makes them unforgettable.

Mesa Verde… absolutely incredible. 🇺🇸❤️

Great Sand Dunes National Park + Vallecito Reservoir 🏞️

My wife Sarah and I love to spend time in nature, do road trips together, visit tiny cute cities, and visit the US National Parks. This time we chose to spend 4 nights doing a different loop in Colorado (what a wonderful state by the way) and visiting 3 different National Parks during this Long Labor Day Weekend!

1 - Great Sand Dunes National Park and Preserve

2 - Mesa Verde National Park

3 - Black Canyon of the Gunnison National Park

Day 1 completed with Great Sand Dunes NP + Vallecito Reservoir

We are happy! Time now to snuggle 🥰 by @rcarvalho_10
