Is the 80-year world order starting to fall apart?

The last time we sat down, I was warned that a tsunami of change was coming. Now he’s back, and he believes we’re starting to see it unfold.

This is @ericrweinstein , a Harvard-trained mathematician and physicist who’s spent decades challenging conventional ideas about the universe.

What I find interesting about Eric is how he connects subjects like physics, technology, politics and history to make sense of what’s happening in the world.

And with everything going on right now, I wanted to understand what concerns him most and what he thinks we might be missing.

We discussed things like:

- Why he believes the world has just woken up from an 80-year sleep.
- His concerns about Iran, Russia and the possibility of nuclear war.
- Why China is watching what’s happening in the West.
- How AI could change the future of science and work.
- His theories about UFOs and government secrecy.
- Why he believes humanity may need to leave our solar system.

At one point, Eric suggests America could be approaching its own version of the Suez Crisis, when Britain was forced to confront how much global power it had lost.

And that’s what I wanted to explore. How does someone who spends so much time thinking about the universe make sense of the challenges we’re facing here on Earth?

Some of Eric’s views are unconventional, but if you’re interested in where the world is heading, the risks we’re facing and how technology could shape our future, I think this is a conversation worth watching.

Out now on all platforms ❤️👊🏾

Oakland police have arrested a woman in the shooting death of reality star Kash, the 29 year old Now That’s TV personality whose real name was Mackayla Paige.

Officers were called to the 200 block of 14th Street in downtown Oakland shortly after 1:30 a.m. Sunday and found a woman who had been shot at least once. They attempted lifesaving measures before she was taken to a hospital, where she died. Police said the victim was a 29 year old from Richmond.

The woman arrested in connection with the shooting is also from Richmond. Police have not released her name, have not said what charges she faces and have not given a possible motive. Investigators also have not said whether the two women knew each other.

Police did not publicly name the victim, but Now That’s TV identified her as Mackayla Paige. Fans knew her as Kash from the network’s digital reality series, including Real West Coast Baddies, Young & Reckless and RoomH8z. Now That’s TV streams shows centered on social media personalities, and many of its programs feature physical fights between cast members.

Posts circulating on social media claim reality star Kash was shot during a fight. Police have not said what led up to the shooting.
