Dated 8/5/2026 🌸 THE FIRST BLOOM!
Each year we plant 50 pounds of cosmos seed. At approximately 82,000 seeds per pound, that works out to over 4,000,000 seeds planted. Out of all those seeds, this plant bloomed first! We are still a few weeks off before things start to get showy. They are enjoying the rain! 🌧️ Everything is lining up great this year! Do cosmos seeds reseed themselves? Of course (to a degree) but the only way to achieve a uniform mass planting like this is to start fresh each year. Things should start looking good September 1st onward!
