Man. This happened to me with my MK4 Supra. I called the company to ship the car. The guy on the phone sounded Indian. Then the trucker barely spoke English. I was freaking out even after I got pics of his license and truck. I thought my car was going to end up in Mexico.I thought all the reviews online were fake. But it arrived safely

This, and the internet was never invented. 📱 I’ve often wondered whether life before the internet was better. Simpler, certainly. There seemed to be less noise in our lives, fewer distractions, and perhaps a little more peace in our minds. We weren’t constantly bombarded with information and opinions, chasing cheap dopamine hits with mind numbing scrolling. We had more time to ourselves, more time for one another, and perhaps a greater appreciation for the simple pleasures in life. 💻 The internet has undoubtedly given us extraordinary things, but I can’t help wondering what we’ve lost along the way. We spend so much of our lives staring at screens, often at the expense of the people around us. We have become hermits, preferring to binge on Netflix than to go out and laugh over a drink with friends and strangers. There’s irony in the fact that, in a world that’s never been more connected, we somehow seem to have become more disconnected from one another. Perhaps progress has given us a great deal, but sometimes I wonder whether a quieter, slower, more human way of living might have been worth holding on to.
