German-American surfer @leonglatzer turned pro at 15. He was born in Hawaii and raised in Pavones, Costa Rica where he learned to surf at the local beaches. In 2021 he became the first German surfer to compete at the Olympic Games. Now he is spending more and more time in Munich, in order to train at @o2surftownmuc , Europe’s largest surf park, which is situated in Hallbergmoos near. Munich.
We met Leon right after a morning training session on a surprisingly chilly morning in May this year. As much as he loves beeing in the water, he was looking forward to that warm shower by the pool. Thanks for the great morning Leon, and taking that GoPro with you!
