1 week to this surreal feeling❤️ Thank you, @zeemarathiofficial for this opportunity! बाकी… Show मधले jokes लवकरच येतायत😂😅❤️

Retro Rewind TV: A little late night Dana Plato to help you sleep.

I had a fairly immediate connection to Diff'Rent Strokes the first time I saw it as a kid in the late 70s - I was probably 5 or 6 when I watched my first episode. Unlike most of the shows I watched, things like SWAT, or Six Million Dollar Man, or Wonder Woman which featured adults, Diff'Rent Strokes had kids that were young like me.

And, as a preteen boy, I almost immediately developed a crush on the sister in the mix, Kimberly, played by the ultra cute Dana Plato. She was the older woman for me and I adored her in the show.

The funny thing was that she was "exotic" for me as a kid growing up in Hawaii. Heck, I was one of a handful of caucasian kids at August Ahrens elementary school in Waipahu Hawaii, so a cute blonde girl was about as different as you could get from my perspective.

Useless 80s Trivia (and something I didn't know until I was writing this): Dana Plato was a fairly skilled figure skater and had been training to go to the Olympics before she got into acting.
