The Best Toothpick Dispenser

I've wanted to try making a dispenser that releases one toothpick at a time when pressed.
Many designs use springs, but this one uses magnetic repulsion instead.
The hardest part was positioning the small piece that pushes the toothpicks upward. I wasn't sure exactly where it should go, so I tested how it worked and found the right position through trial and error before gluing it in place.
One interesting discovery was that it dispenses toothpicks more consistently when there are a reasonable number of toothpicks inside rather than when it's nearly empty.
The mechanism may look complicated at first, but the basic design is surprisingly simple. If you like the idea, give it a try!

A little explanation about whats been happening. Instagram had put little blocks in place, temporarily stopping me from commenting on photos and chats. It could lead to permanent disabling my account. I was tired of this and I tried to start over again and deleting this account, but considering the amount of work i put in it and the love i have received from all of you. I decided to give it another go. Im sorry if it has been confusing these last few days ❤️❤️

The world doesn’t need another complicated invention. It needs more simple ideas that actually make life easier. 🤯

Think about how many little problems we deal with every single day.

Standing in the wrong checkout line.

Forgetting groceries until they expire.

Searching an entire parking garage for your car.

Waiting for a bus without knowing if there’s even room inside.

Or trying to find your seat in a dark movie theater without disturbing everyone.

None of these problems seems like a big deal on its own.

But when you experience the same small frustrations over and over again, you start wondering why nobody has made a better solution.

And the interesting part?

Some of these ideas already exist in certain places. They just haven’t become normal everywhere.

Imagine grocery carts that calculate your total while you shop.

Bus stops that tell you how crowded the next bus is.

Elevators that show how many people are inside.

Or public benches that protect you from the rain.

These aren’t inventions that would completely change humanity.

They’re the kind of small improvements that could make an ordinary day noticeably better.

Sometimes the smartest innovation isn’t something nobody has ever imagined.

It’s fixing a problem everyone has gotten used to.

Which of these 20 ideas should become normal everywhere?

And what’s one everyday problem you wish someone would finally solve?

Share your idea in the comments. Someone else might have been thinking the exact same thing.
