Manar @manar438668 has been living with a devastating arm injury since February 17, 2024, when a sniper’s bullet and shrapnel shattered his bones. He urgently needs bone grafting and nerve surgery, but the treatment he needs is unavailable in Gaza, and he remains trapped without access to the care he has been referred to receive abroad. As the eldest in his family, Manar is also responsible for his elderly parents and younger siblings while enduring constant pain, scarce medicine, inadequate food, and the harsh reality of life in a tent. Yet Manar is more than someone struggling to survive, he is a writer and witness who has documented life under genocide in his book, Gaza: Two Stories, One Reality.
