Kacey Musgraves isn’t letting her critics get the last word.

On Monday, the country star fired back at Kristi Noem, the former Homeland Security secretary and current U.S. special envoy, after Noem took a swipe at Musgraves for welcoming Texas Senate candidate James Talarico to one of her concerts over the weekend.

“I don’t think you have a dog in this fight but if you did you would have shot it,” Musgraves wrote on X, delivering a pointed jab at Noem’s controversial account of killing her family dog.

last @circolocoibiza of the seasonnnn ♥️

closed out the season b2b with my dear friend @dixon_ and somehow one last dance turned into an impromptu b4b closing set with @stroxler + @skreamizm

being a woman up there closing out the terrace on the final night of the season meant a lot to me, one of those moments I’ll hold onto for a long time.

feeling very lucky to have had another summer full of nights like this. thank you for dancing with us all season longggg.

thank you to each and everyone of you who danced with me this season & to my circoloco fam 🤡♥️

Ironman World Champs 🥈

A day I won’t forget for a while <3

After last year, being able to come back to Kona and stand on that start line feeling healthy, strong and confident within my body was an unreal feeling.

I’m super happy with how the day panned out across the swim, bike & run. There were tough moments throughout the race, but overall I’m really proud to have put together a race that reflected the work I’ve put in over the last few months.

Kona is definitely a different beast and takes a lot out of you both physically & mentally, but I think that’s part of what makes it so special. Stoked to walk away with 2nd in my age group and get another lil PB too :)

A special thank you to my fam for making it over & being the besttt support always. You guys are the goats.

Huge thank you to Jack @s0s_performance for everything you do and always backing me in. Veryy grateful for you!

And to my sponsors, training crew back home & everyone in my corner, thank youuu always <3

Excited for what’s to come!!
