We came for a date night and ended up spending the evening with friends.
Our friend Brian Blair was playing music at the winery, so we grabbed a couple glasses and found a spot on the lawn. At some point the owner joined in with a saxophone, and the one and only Norris Williams even got on stage for a surprise solo performance!
This is one of my favorite things about Leavenworth. You head out with no real plans other than to listen to some music and have a glass of wine, only to run into people you know, meet a few you don’t, and end up staying way longer than you planned.
Nothing fancy, just good music, good people, a beautiful summer night, and one of those evenings that reminds you why we love living here.
Leavenworth is pretty special.
