Your refs are giving the wnba a run for their money. Earlier i saw a chair call game set match before it was even over. Now in the 16u championship, i always love an underdog, but the #1 player got robbed on call. She was practically on top of the ball. I was sitting close by. It was out, clearly. The line official called it in. The games would have become 3-1 and instead became 2-2. I write this before it is over and have no idea whomis winning now. I favor neither player. The girl couldnt believe it was called in, protested to the lineman and chair. Call made. Bad call made. I was a pro sports photog and olayed tennis. Unlike today, we watched for 1/500 split second moments. Our brains our wired for it. I absolutely love the usta soortmanship posters on display, but that does not account for line judges asleep at the wheel or wondering what they will have for lunch while a championship is underway.
