‼️4 WEEKS TO GO | ARTIST SPOTLIGHT: FABIO‼️FLU!D DNB I NG-ONE I NOTTM
When you talk about the history of Drum & Bass, one name stands absolute: FABIO, the undeniable Godfather of Liquid Funk and the man who's influence on UK drum and bass culture is unrivaled.
Fabio is a true pioneer who doesn't just play the Liquid Funk genre — he helped invent it, embed it, preserve it, and he still continues to highlight new producers.
• In 2000, he released the seminal compilation album Fabio Presents Liquid Funk on his own label, Creative Source, which served as the official blueprint for the genre.
• He launched Swerve, a legendary weekly night at Velvet Rooms and later at London's The End club. Swerve became the testing ground for new liquid dubplates.
• Fabio also took the sound directly to the mainstream via BBC Radio 1, dedicating portions of his weekly show to Liquid.
Older heads can expect pure nostalgia and a masterclass selection from the man who was there from Day 1—bringing back the soulful chords, deep basslines, and golden-era energy that built our scene. And for the younger generation, this night will be a rare chance to witness a living legend up close in an intimate nightclub environment, showing exactly why Liquid Funk remains the most soulful subgenre in electronic music.
Super Early & Early Birds sold out quick time, and Standard £12.50 tickets are moving fast. Move quick and secure your spot now before prices go up for the Final Release!
