Who Told You to Make Yourself My Manager? I Don’t Want My Money to Finish— Speed Darlington Fires back at media personality Gaski Nigerian rapper Speed Darlington, popularly known as Akpi, has dismissed the idea of having a manager, insisting that he would rather employ someone to serve him than allow another person to handle his finances. In a new video, the controversial entertainer addressed Gaski following reports that the latter had resigned after allegedly receiving ₦250,000 from a ₦30 million payment. Darlington questioned why he would need a manager when he could oversee his affairs himself, declaring, “I am the owner-manager.” He also accused people who offer to manage him of having questionable intentions, suggesting that hiring a manager could lead to his money being spent unnecessarily. “What do I want to do with a manager? So that my money will just finish?” he asked. The rapper further lashed out at Gaski for allegedly assuming a managerial role without his approval, questioning who had authorised him to take up the position. “Who told you to make yourself a manager?” he queried, insisting that he was already in charge of his own affairs. Darlington also claimed that responding to the controversy was unnecessary, admitting that he had initially decided to remain silent because he did not want to give the other party more attention. The outburst comes amid the reported disagreement surrounding the ₦30 million payment and Gaski’s alleged resignation after receiving ₦250,000.

“Just wait until you have kids.” I’ve never liked this saying. And now, as a mom of four, I still don’t like it. Why do we talk about having kids like it’s the end of doing things we once loved, chasing our dreams, or becoming who we want to be? Kids should be our reason to go after all those things! I personally wanna show my kids that they can have both. Motherhood changes everything. Our priorities shift, sleep becomes a luxury, and some seasons are simply about surviving. I’ve been there. But what if we stopped waiting until the end of the day to reclaim time for ourselves, when we’re already exhausted and gave ourselves that time in the morning instead? Before the kids wake up and the million requests begin. Time to move our bodies, quiet our minds, and do something that makes us feel like US. I wasn’t always a 4:30 a.m. mom, and I know early mornings aren’t possible in every season. And it’s not even what every single morning looks like. But pouring into yourself first creates this powerful domino effect. You show up with more patience, energy, and intention in every aspect of your life, as a mom, a wife, and can handle whatever the day throws at you. So stop looking at your kids as the reason you CAN’T do something, and start looking at them as the reason you WILL. Let them be your motivation to chase your dreams and show them what hard work, discipline, and believing in yourself look like. Your dreams don’t have to die when you become a mom. Motherhood can give you an even bigger reason to go after them. ❤️ There’s a book I read that completely changed my perspective on mornings and was one of the biggest reasons I shifted my mindset and became a morning person. I recommend it to EVERY single mom Comment MORNING and I’ll send you the book that changed my mindset, along with all my morning routine essentials! ☀️ #MomOfFour #MorningRoutine #MotherhoodMotivation #5AMClub #MomLife
