He has won I don’t know how many competitions and holds world records, but I am one of those who strongly believes the true value of a person is measured by the contribution.
I met him for the first time about twenty years ago when he assessed me on a Mudry Cap 10b, with zero experience on an aerobatic nor a tailwheel plane, for the @aeroclub_lugo to take the risk of sponsoring my aerobatic and aerobatic instructor ratings in exchange of me teaching exclusively at their school for the three years after completion. He is the one who every time talked to me has saved my life. He is the one who in the early 80’s has modified a Mudry Cap 21 so much that has put down for its manufacturer the basis to build the Cap 230, 231, 231EX and 232. He is Sergio Dallan, one of the world’s greatest aviator, aerobatic competitor and performer, flight instructor, airplane technician, airplane builder, aviation innovators of all time. He is considered the godfather of aerobatics in Italy and to me still he is often like the father I never had. You ask him and he teaches you, no matter what, this is the one and only Sergio Dallan.
