a week since my “see you later!” to the Pink Palace 🩷
too many moments and dives and words to share, but here are some of my favorite moments!
• getting approved for shows
• my very first show
• convincing my body I can fall headfirst backwards
• Tony Hawk happening to film me for his IG story
• getting better and going headfirst backwards
• surprising my parents who didn’t know I was a Casa Bonita Diver after a month of planning
• my biggest flop
• helping my nephew propose
• my “goodbye” and “finale” dive show
• my actual last shift for a while, with 2 of my best parkour friends (of course they get hired as I’m leaving 😅) and clocking out for the last time with my bestie
I grew so much as a person, and as a performer, and I am so grateful for everything Casa Bonita offered me. Especially including all of the talented and lovely people I got to meet, work with, and let into my life.
And maybe I’ll be back again if the universe works out that way. I sure would be happy to be back to working at my favorite job I’ve ever had : )
Until then, I’m excited to see where this Cirque du Soleil thing takes me 🩷 ⮕ ☀️
