I: afraid of changin' by @nahulujared

I am usually afraid to dance in front of people but last night I did exactly that for 4 to 5 hours straight. Super big thanks to everyone there (& especially the hosts!) for being a safe and fun space for me. 🥹🫶🏽
and shoutout @cinthia_ruizrdz for being the best dance partner for legitimately those entire 4 to 5 hours 🕺🏻💃🏻 🐼 🐼 by @nahulujared

small team / family road trip to see Luzia @cirquedusoleil in Ottawa! (@luzia.cirquedusoleil)
super incredibly fun day with super incredibly fun people, and a show that was incredibly super (and made me tear up)!!!
I think it’s finally starting to sink in that this is real life… 🫠❤️‍🔥 by @nahulujared

If you ask me if I want to “hang out,” this is what I’m assuming you mean. Best kind of friendships are built from shenanigans, philosophical discussions, & getting through the hard times with support and laughter. 😊

Five days a week I would bike past these walls on my way to class. I was a sophomore in high school, and in 2017, I would visualize backflipping from one wall to the other nearly every day. Nearly 10 years later I built up the strength and the courage to finally do it : )
Obviously the only attempt I got wasn’t perfect, and as if the coming rain wasn’t enough to wrap up that session, my muddy and soaked pants were. But the core goal had been completed and my heart was so happy (as fast as it was beating), because I really did that thing I had visualized for soooo long!

This was to be the central theme to the video I had been working on since April of 2025, to be titled “iridescent”
Just go out (have so much fun), find out what my eyes can come up with at any given spot, and see if any of it is possible. Or at least, if I’m willing to try it. Like the parkour stick figure you imagine into existence on long road trips, running alongside the car, doing the first flip or jump your eyes see.
Historically, my eyes have often bit off more than my body can chew, and I’m always left with a looming question of if the things I had imagined are actually possible. And while I had a great deal planned for this video (and maybe still do…) I liked to believe it was all possible if I put my time and effort towards getting it done.

not the biggest deal in the world, and it’s not the biggest video I’ve ever made, but this Monday I’ll be releasing (what is probably) my last parkour video until at least 2029!
excited to share more, and count down the days, and for everything else that is to come!
cheers.🍻

p.s. sorry I’m a sentimental kinda guy, idk what to tell you 😅 by @nahulujared

lil grip strength test
happy Friday! by @nahulujared

a week since my “see you later!” to the Pink Palace 🩷
too many moments and dives and words to share, but here are some of my favorite moments!
• getting approved for shows
• my very first show
• convincing my body I can fall headfirst backwards
• Tony Hawk happening to film me for his IG story
• getting better and going headfirst backwards
• surprising my parents who didn’t know I was a Casa Bonita Diver after a month of planning
• my biggest flop
• helping my nephew propose
• my “goodbye” and “finale” dive show
• my actual last shift for a while, with 2 of my best parkour friends (of course they get hired as I’m leaving 😅) and clocking out for the last time with my bestie
I grew so much as a person, and as a performer, and I am so grateful for everything Casa Bonita offered me. Especially including all of the talented and lovely people I got to meet, work with, and let into my life.
And maybe I’ll be back again if the universe works out that way. I sure would be happy to be back to working at my favorite job I’ve ever had : )
Until then, I’m excited to see where this Cirque du Soleil thing takes me 🩷 ⮕ ☀️
SO MUCH LOVE TO ALL MY PEOPLE!! by @nahulujared
