There are worse places to live in Africa. I can’t complain too much about this place. Experienced my first South African Braai (what we call bbq in the south) thanks to @seamansteyn . The last pic is of Pete. He was thrown over the camp wall and stuck in the razor wire when he was pup 14+ years ago. I’ve got a feeling that was the best thing that could have ever happened to him. He definitely makes my days go by faster with his presence and companionship.

Is that rabbit y’all hare grilling? Sure is a beautiful place . Would love to visit until you mentioned fence and razor wire! I’ll just stay in Tenn with the possums and squirrels. Be safe. Our girl starts her last semester tommorrow. Can’t believe it

To the 5 men repeatedly misusing the UBS bicycle hub toilet at 9 Penang Road — your activities have NOT gone unnoticed.
I’m posting this to highlight what appears to be repeated misuse of the communal bicycle hub toilet at UBS, 9 Penang Road.
And this is NOT the first incident.
During my latest encounter, I walked into the toilet and caught two men in a compromising position, with one midway through unzipping the other’s trousers. The moment they noticed me, they immediately stopped and pretended nothing had happened.
After leaving to pack up my bicycle, I heard the toilet door being locked from inside.
When I subsequently wanted to return to wash up, I couldn’t get in because the door was locked. I approached FCC security for assistance, but by the time security arrived, the door had conveniently been unlocked.
There were FIVE men inside, all behaving as though they were simply using the toilet.
Four subsequently left but continued loitering around the bicycle hub. The fifth remained inside, seemingly keeping watch and waiting for an opportunity to signal the others to return.
The entire sequence appeared coordinated.
Here’s the thing: I’ve encountered something similar before.
On a previous occasion, the toilet was similarly locked from inside, preventing others from using it. When the door was finally opened, the entire toilet was filled with a strong smell resembling personal lubricant.
I cannot confirm exactly what was happening behind those locked doors, but taken together with what I personally witnessed during the latest incident, the recurring pattern is extremely suspicious.
To the individuals involved: Your behaviour has been noticed, and it is not as discreet as you might think.
What consenting adults do in private is their own business. However, a communal bicycle hub toilet is NOT your private playground.Commuters depend on these facilities to wash up, change and use the toilet. It is completely unacceptable for anyone to monopolise the facilities and lock legitimate users out.
