My trip to Lebanon was entirely made possible by the fantastic team at @seenary0 whose work I got to be a part of while there. We did amazing workshops with women from Lebanon, Syria and Palestine. The power of theatre to create community and connection was in full force and the work done was so beautiful. The talent of the many women I met was outstanding and the stories shared and performed through their incredible writing was truly inspiring, I felt very lucky to be there. To see the work that @seenary0 does please check out their page and support if you can. It’s so important to provide spaces for people to use trauma for their own healing. I believe all aspects of theatre can do that and what I got to be part of in Lebanon affirmed that belief a thousand times. See their shows if you are in Beirut! All info on their website. иногда проявляться - это не выходить к людям с красивой историей о том, как ты со всем справилась. а позволить себе быть той, которая сейчас не боится чего-то. которой больно, которая плачет, которой нужна поддержка.

это не прятать свои слёзы за привычным «всё хорошо», не ждать, пока снова станешь сильной, собранной и уверенной, чтобы вернуться в поле зрения других.

и мне хочется плакать от этой простоты. от того, как много может значить это внимание.

я учусь не стыдиться таких моментов. не обесценивать свою уязвимость. не думать, что сначала нужно прийти в себя, прожить всё красиво и только потом показываться миру.

потому что проявленность - это не только право быть увиденной в своей силе. это ещё и право быть увиденной в своей слабости. неидеальной, растерянной, уставшей, живой.

и, возможно, именно в такие моменты мы становимся ближе друг к другу по-настоящему. когда перестаём показывать только ту часть себя, которой можно гордиться, и разрешаем другим увидеть ту, которой сейчас просто нужна любовь.

мне больше не нужно ждать, пока все станет идеаль�
