Moving out of Brooklyn this weekend. It was the first place I’ve ever lived that felt like home. The people at the grocery store asked me what I was making for dinner, I had my restaurants, I trained for my first half here, I performed around the block.

Thank you to everyone who rolled thru for gatherings, sitting on the stoop, and looking out my window. I think the kid who religiously read A Tree Grows in Brooklyn with lineage here would be just as sentimental as the adult I grew into. Onward. (Also I’m moving to Harlem haha not out of new york)
