Its official. I am the SLOWEST athlete in my age group to complete the course at the OCR world championships @ocrwc2026ireland , where I represented Team GB, and I am more than happy with that!

To actually complete the course was my only goal going in and I knew the best way to do that was to restrain my running. Luckily it worked and I came over the finish line with 1 out of my 3 bands intact having only failed 2 rigs.

Objective achieved and standard set for next year's Euros as completing the world's qualifies me to stay on the team.🇬🇧 😁 🇬🇧

Let me rewrite that for you: "I am incredibly proud to say that, not only did I represent my country on the world stage, I managed to keep a band and complete the course. This puts me in the top echelons of the sport I compete in."
