And the moment she enters that room, you already know someone is about to lose everything. On the other side sits Theo Rose, portrayed by Benedict Cumberbatch, alongside his lawyer Barry, played by Andy Samberg. There's just one problem. Barry mostly handles real estate. Eleanor looks like she's been preparing for this confrontation her entire life. And she didn't come to negotiate. She came to win. The confidence. The savage insults. The complete lack of hesitation. Even bringing her intimidating dog, Bruno, feels like a calculated psychological attack. But what makes this iconic scene so unforgettable is Allison Janney's delivery. She doesn't simply play an aggressive attorney. She makes every sentence feel like a personal attack disguised as professional legal advice. And somehow, it's absolutely hilarious.
