‘Fullmetal Alchemist’ follows Edward and Alphonse Elric, two brilliant brothers who attempt to use the forbidden art of human alchemy to resurrect their deceased mother. The experiment goes horribly wrong, costing Edward his left leg and right arm, and Alphonse his entire physical body, leaving his soul bound to a suit of armor. To find a way to restore their bodies, Edward becomes a State Alchemist, searching for the mythical Philosopher’s Stone alongside his brother. With its dark atmosphere, complex moral dilemmas, and deeply emotional orchestral score, the story centers on the law of equivalent exchange, the heavy price of ambition, and the unbreakable bond of family.
