Shouting for joy out here in the literary world! Robert Gwaltney joins the Pat Conroy Literary Center as the new Executive Director! I will never forget October 2016, when the Center first opened its doors — coinciding with the launch of the first annual Pat Conroy Literary Festival. Being there to celebrate the legacy of such a gifted writer, and to introduce my first novel at the very same time, is a memory I will treasure forever. Congratulations, Robert — the Center is in wonderful hands!
