I truly don’t know where the time has gone, it feels like she’s grown so much in just the last year.

But one thing that remains the same is her bravery and independence. She’s been cutting her own hair for years (barely if ever lets me touch it 😂) and has the most fun fashion sense that I have zero say in. She’s her own person and she teaches me so much.

I hope you can feel as free and brave and curious as her when you’re cutting your hair or your client’s hair. There is so much fun to be had with the little imperfections, so don’t overthink it. Often times those are the most interesting and beautiful parts of a cut.

So I’m excited for you to unlearn a few things and learn some things that might feel a little more freeing ❤️ Drop any questions you have below xxoo

It’s actually the opposite, @ Shirtless George

1. Woman’s hormonal system five times more sensitive to stress than man’s.
Research proves: HPA axis (hypothalamus-pituitary-adrenal) in women activates faster and stays active longer.
Means with equal stress her body releases more cortisol, and recovery drags out.
Even if outwardly she seems calm, nervous system may be in survival mode.

2. Elevated cortisol blocks emotional contact.
Cortisol suppresses oxytocin - hormone of trust and love.
So even with caring partner, stability or family, body perceives this not as protection but additional load.
She doesn’t stop loving - her organism simply can’t feel it.

3. Woman quickly falls into closed anxiety cycle.
Without physical movement, deep rest or proper breathing stress accumulates as constant tension.
Hits sleep, sexual drive, memory and emotional balance.
What seems “mood swings” or “coldness” often not character trait but burning nervous system.

4. Chronic cortisol reduces brain flexibility.
Longer woman stays under stress, less strength for empathy, dialogue or decisions.
Brain switches to energy-saving mode: withdrawal, emotional shutdown, apathy.
Not from indifference - from organism’s attempt to preserve itself.

5. Scariest - she often doesn’t realize physiological nature of problem.
Starts doubting her feelings, blaming herself or partner.
But root not always emotional - it’s biological.
Exhausted nervous system simply can’t “activate” love.
Until recovery happens, neither therapy nor attention will bring effect.
