No fancy reel just straight EXTENDED SET 🔥

The goal here is simple: extend the set past where you would normally stop.

1️⃣ Band + DB lateral raises → aim heavy enough to get about 10 reps. The band adds extra tension as you raise up but also adds tension on you lower. So don’t let the band just pull you down. Result against it.

2️⃣Drop the band → DB laterals → failure
You are keeping same dumbbell weight but you are getting rid of the band so rep these out till failure.

3️⃣ Drop the DBs → band top 1/4-rep pulses → failure
These are a staple for me. They may feel easy at first, but because you are pulsing and not ever lower they start to burn quick. I also utilize rest/pause for the partials. Rest for 5-10 secs and keep going. I get anywhere from 20-30reps for these depending which set I’m on. Make them burn.

Each change allows you to keep the set going. And those final pulses may be a shorter range, but there’s no break in tension, just constant tension at peak contraction. I’m using the lightest band. These will burn but keep going through the burn. Your shoulders will thank me later.

One set. A LOT of work.

Wish I could train you every day?? I can! Comment PLAN and try a week out with me on me. 💪🏼

We were warned. And now extreme weather is wreaking havoc across the world.

Rising temperatures increase the risk of landslides, floods, and avalanches and countries that have contributed the least to the climate crisis are bearing the brunt. Meanwhile, Big Oil rake in BILLIONS in profit.

@zarnagarg and I bicker about love and relationships all the time, but NEVER in my wildest dreams did I imagine Chelsea Handler weighing into our mother-daughter drama

(Comment “YES” and I’ll send the full episode to you!)

This story began when Chelsea liked our reel. I nearly threw up out of anxiety. Mom ordered me to cool it on the drama, so I DMed Chelsea instead. Within 48 hours, we were visiting her in Spain. I’ve learned that when opportunity knocks, don’t waste time on “scheduling.” Just GO!

I found out Madrid is a gorgeous city with the most luscious avocados and peaches I’ve ever tasted, made tastier when purchased with my own whimsical spending budget that I’d been building but hadn’t found a use for until then

I also found out what happens when you take full responsibility for yourself, with no desire or expectation of a Prince Charming. Many women say they don’t want a prince, but many, many of them secretly do. Chelsea is focused on creating a life that will take care of her

“Live, live, live, and let life marinate,” Chelsea told me as we sifted through handwoven 100% cotton trousers. She enjoys shopping as much as the Gargs do. “I’m worried about people’s opinions about me and my family,” I admitted. “Have you tried alcohol?” she asked, then generously transported me into a sea of her own life stories

The whole experience shook me like a snow globe and settled my nerves into a cool, peaceful bliss

I hope Chelsea’s wisdom touches you the way it touched me. Irregardless, I pledge to adhere to good grammar rules (watch to find out why)
