Life will show you all sorts of things.
How we choose to meet it, is on us, no?🤔

Easier said than done, though.

I used to think I was pretty good at not letting other people’s behaviours or things I experienced in life affect me much😇

And then somewhere, I realized I had let a few people & a few defining experiences change how I saw myself.👀
How
👉🏽I moved.
👉🏽I valued myself.
👉🏽Much I trusted my own intuition & capabilities.

I:
👉🏽Started shrinking myself so some people wouldn’t feel threatened by me.
👉🏽Stayed quiet when I was disrespected.
👉🏽Gave more and more of myself to people & clients, while forgetting that I needed to show up for myself, too.

I stopped feeling like I could be both:
✨Soft & powerful
✨Goofy & serious
✨Warm & have boundaries
✨Still figuring things out while still being completely capable

Eventually, my soul started asking me to come home to myself.
So little by little, I started listening👂🏼
👏🏼I started giving myself the same energy I’d so freely given everyone else.
👏🏼I started trusting my intuition heavily again.
👏🏼I stopped dimming myself around people who needed me to stay smaller to feel comfortable.
👏🏼I started removing myself from places, relationships & situations where I wasn’t appreciated, respected or valued.
👏🏼And most importantly, I stopped believing I had to be less ME.

I’m still figuring it out. I think we all are. But these days, I’m much more interested in being fully myself & letting the right people recognize the value in that (or not).💁🏻‍♀️

And maybe that’s the point. SO
