It feels surreal to be writing this post. Unfortunately, last month I tore my second ACL in my first game back from my first ACL in 2024. Truly my worst nightmare.

There’s no hiding how heartbreaking this has been. Some days are harder than others, and I’m still learning to accept that this is my reality again. But there’s only one way through it, and that’s forward.

This is a shitty chapter of my journey, but I know it won’t define my career as an athlete. Although I won’t get the opportunity to play in the 2026 AFLW season, I’ll find other ways to grow, both on and off the field.

Little GB would be SO proud to know I made it to the AFLW, but she’d also know I still have so much more to give. Long-term rehab can make it hard to stay motivated, but the dream hasn’t changed. I can’t let little GB down 🥺❤️‍🩹

I’m so thankful for all the beautiful messages and incredibly grateful for the support from my loved ones and everyone at the Melbourne Football Club. It truly means the world to me and only motivates me more to get back out there again.

The comeback in 2027 will be worth it. ❤️‍🩹
