& they lived happily ever after💍 to be loved the way you love me 🥺 i truly feel like the luckiest bean in the entire world. i get to spend forever with the kindest soul & my heart has never felt happier & safer😭 you're truly my best friend & lover & i can't wait to do more life with you my love!!!
Today, I celebrate one of the greatest gifts and privileges God has given me: the gift of being a father. One year ago, my life changed in ways I could never have fully prepared for. I became responsible for a life so precious, so beautiful, and so dependent on me. And in the process of raising my daughter, God has also been raising me. Fatherhood has taught me love in a deeper dimension, patience in new ways, responsibility beyond myself, and the importance of wisdom that only God can give. I have had to learn, unlearn, grow, and trust God in ways I never imagined. Looking back, I can only say, “Thus far has the Lord helped us.” To my beautiful Queen, Laura, thank you. ❤️ Thank you for your strength, your sacrifices, your resilience, and the incredible way you have embraced motherhood. I have watched you give of yourself, navigate the demands of this journey, and love our daughter so beautifully. You deserve to be celebrated, not just today, but every day. Thank you for being an amazing mother to our little girl. I am grateful to walk this journey with you. And to our precious daughter, Ilerioluwa Remilekun Zendaya Elsie Banjo, happy first birthday! 🥹❤️ You may be too young to understand what you mean to us, but one day, I hope you look back and see how deeply you have been loved from the very beginning. You have brought so much joy into our lives, and watching you grow has been one of our greatest blessings. Above all, Lord, thank You for grace and wisdom. Thank You for the strength for each day, the wisdom to navigate unfamiliar territory, and the grace to grow into this beautiful responsibility. Thank You for keeping our daughter, sustaining our family, and helping us through our first year. One year down, a lifetime of love, learning, and intentional parenting ahead. Happy 1st birthday, Zendaya! Daddy loves you. ❤️
Nothing in life is forever. And maybe that’s what makes it so precious. Everything we have is only ours for a little while. The moments, the places, even the people we love. Some people stay longer, others are only part of a small chapter of our story. And sometimes letting go is so hard, even when we know it’s time. But I’m learning to accept life as it comes. To be grateful for what I have today, to hold on to beautiful memories, and to let go of what is no longer meant to stay. Because life isn’t about keeping everything forever. It’s about appreciating everything while it’s here. 📸 Photography by the talented Jan @jan_de_vries_photography 🤍
