Konrad - the batter was not to think nor too thin, it had a nice subtle crisp to it & complemented the fish well along with the remoulade, which their could have been a bit more of. To be fair they were extremely busy & didn’t want to bother them with asking them for more. Potato salad was solid, glad it was mayo based like a good old erpelschlot should be. I very much enjoyed the kibbeling off Alice’s plate, they were delicious little bites - 8.5/10

Alice - Juicy, juicy, juicy. Does more need to be said ? Yes. The fish bits (kibbeling) were so righteously crispy yet tender on the inside. The calamari as soft as could be, not a hit on rubber in sight. The chips had a moorish flavour, while rating well on my personal crispness scale. Now, that salad, the dressing great, the variety it held, exceptional. The tiny bits of apples, the red cabbage, but really the showstopper for me the samphire (queller) it gave the feel of a Michelin star spot. Bloody good fish & chips if I do say so myself - 9/10
