Day five: Prestwick GC & Western Gailes
Wow.
Both of these courses were so different, but equally as memorable.
Prestwick felt like Tobacco Road crossed with North Berwick plus when you add in the history of the first Open venue with a number of original greens still intact it makes for a truly special experience.
Western Gailes has 8 holes along the coastline that are absolutely breathtaking. The sunny skies didn't hear either.
Epic final day of solo golf as my buddies arrive on Sunday and I take a tourist break tomorrow in Edinburgh.
