Jason Statham is a British actor, producer, and former model best known for his roles in high-octane action films. Born in 1967 in Derbyshire, England, he worked as a street vendor and competitive diver before being discovered by Guy Ritchie, who cast him in Lock, Stock and Two Smoking Barrels (1998) and Snatch (2000). These early performances showcased his dry wit and physical presence, launching a career defined by tough, no-nonsense characters who rely on hand-to-hand combat, car chases, and steely determination.

Statham rose to international stardom through the Transporter series and later anchored major franchises including The Expendables, Fast & Furious, and the Meg films. His signature style—lean, athletic, and often deadpan—has made him a reliable leading man in action cinema, while occasional dramatic turns have shown range beyond pure spectacle. Off-screen he has maintained a relatively private life, focusing on his work and long-term relationship with model Rosie Huntington-Whiteley.
